just to say that thanks but i think i will come back after the gig, at the moment i'm thinking about offering the ticket to my friend Lucy in exchange that she lets me stay in her house in Leeds that night, (although she will kindly let me stay for free anyway, but she's down and i want to make her happy by taking her to nice music)
anyway, just to let you know thanks and also that i will not need a bed in sheffield. I'm very moved by your kind offer tho. :)

yes... for just a little bit (10 min?!)

my flight from London to Manchester came two hours late, as a result, I arrived in Manchester late, and the last train to York (after I waited for it for about 2 hours) got cancelled, so they sent me on a bus to Manchester piccadilly, but the minute I arrived, the last train to York already left, so I was left with three options:
1) wait there till maybe 5 or 6 to take the first train back
2) go home by taxi from there
3) take the only left train, which was going to sheffield

so I took 3) that was why I was in Sheffield for a bit.
