wanyu, love the sign behind your head...

reminds me of the pic i took of richard and annemarie with the lost property notice... the ones that i showed all the kids in japan...

didn't notice you'd put on weight... must be all those layers of clothes you have on to stay warm...

Why is it Monday??

Can't believe you showed that photo to kids.

Looks like you had a good time. What does the Amelie thing say? (Best film ever, I reckon.)

I made a very sad Amelie pilgrimage when I was in Paris in August. To the cafe, that is. She wasn't there. My world. Shattered.

Nope. I was roundly mocked for my nice little excursion and left to fend for myself. A went off to buy a skipload of books instead. But I got to see the Sacre Coeur and all that. And Montmartre was nice (well, the top bit anyhow). So nerr to any skeptics!

jenny i just successfully invited myself to a&k's flat for a bit! (i brought my own pizza and apple to eat there but did ask for a coffee!!)

kind of nice to be able to just say 'can i come?' and then in a couple of hours i can be there!

oh now i do miss last year... (like you said...) we used to do all the things together!! now there's just too much work work work!!! (and not enough friendly people like you around, who always arrange things to do together, so i've turned unfriendly too...well i was pestering my friend Lucy to have sunday dinner together next week...does anyone want to come?)

to richard,
ginger hair is cute, (to be honest, i don't think any of my friends have hair that colour..) and ron is really the best! i know he's just a kid but like i like sam rather than frodo in 'the lord of the rings', i can't help paying more attention to ron than i do to harry! I guess I feel the main characters are always liked by too many people and I tend to prefer the less-liked... oh and sam is such a loyal friend... he makes my eyes wet...i'm really touched by his friendship to frodo...

hey wanyu,

i seriously miss last year. it's good to be doing something new and challenging (i think!) but it's just not as fun! to be fair, i have had fun, probably quite a lot, but i miss having friends who have time to do things!! all these pgcers are great, but they're always, always tired! i'm tired too, but i'm trying my hardest not to let it stop me doing other things except work and more work! i would come to sunday lunch, but i'll be here in sheff doing my assignment. boring... and my cousin wants to come and stay that weekend too, which isn't going to happen i'm afraid...

kate just made me a proper hot chocolate. i think i'm putting on weight...

gotta sleep...

richard, i think maybe i would've taken a trip to the amelie cafe too...
