What can I do?

The song I have been listening to non-stop this weekend is 'What can I do' by Antony and the Johnsons:

What can I do
When the bird's got to die
What can I do
When she's too weak to fly
What can I do
When she's calling my name
She's crying
Mama, Help me to live
What can I do

Anyone else think he sounds exactly like rufus?

I must say the recent me isn't the biggest fan of A&J's style... but if you like them you must like Sufjan Stevens too...

PS. I wasn't reminded of Rufus Wainwright when i listened to a song by A&J online (called 'hope there's someone') Oh, and by the way I bought 'Poses' finally...

It sounds like a very miserable song to spend all weekend listening to; I hope that you are feeling happier than that. Personally I am still not keen on Antony and the Johnsons. However, your comparrison with Rufus reminded me of a comment Demi left on my site: 'Antony has featured in one of Rufus Wainwright's tracks called "Old Whore's Diet."'

It is a miserable song, I agree, but I just love the way it sounds. I'm trying not to listen to the lyrics too much... I haven't got the album yet, but think I'll get it soon. I hope the rest of the album is as good as this song.
